It's a beautiful day...

76ยบ, sunny outside, it's one of the most beautiful days in College Station that I have seen in awhile. Some of you are probably reading this and thinking, "If you don't have anything interesting to write about, you shouldn't write at all," but please bear with me.

One of my favorite things to do here at Texas A&M is to go study at Research Park. I love to sit on the towels or on the grass and read, and between paragraphs I can look out at the green grass, at the dirty creek that's becoming constantly dirtier as people's dogs slog through it to catch frisbees or any number of other chew toy baits. The rocks, the bridge, the trees, the entire area is simply beautiful.

What makes Research Park even more beautiful for me in particular is that normally I have the priveledge of going with friends, who make the entire experience even more enjoyable just by their very presence. This could be further expounded upon, but for the purpose of this treatise, it is a digression, so I will drop it here.

Every time I go to Research Park, I'm led to genuinely admire the beauty there, and remember our Creator who made it. It really is awe-inspiring to remember, especially through our mundane lives indoors, some of the beautiful things God created for our enjoyment. And it also serves as a reminder that if God can make something beautiful out of plants and dirt, He can make something beautiful out of me too, as He works in me to will and act according to His good purpose (Philippians 2:13).

Wow!
