Why do people have to leave?

Tonight was Senior Share Night at RUF. For those of my readers who do not attend RUF (repent! just kidding...), on the last week of every semester, those who are leaving get up and give a testimony of what God has done in their lives at Texas A&M.

I hate senior share. It's not that I don't want to let the seniors share, it's just that this night always means that the day is upon us where the seniors are leaving. There are several people who are leaving our midst who I have grown to be good friends with and who mean a lot to me, and I am both happy for what God will do in their lives, but also sad to see them go. Everyone should stay at Texas A&M until I graduate, and then we can all leave at once. :-)

I'm full of mixed emotions right now and not sure what to write, but I want to state that I am glad for what God is doing in the lives of these friends, and also state that I am happy for what many of them have done in my life. I will miss them terribly.
