Melted
So my dryer has apparently melted. Well, the plastic on it anyway. I ran the dryer on Sunday night and on Monday morning, every piece of plastic attached to the dryer was melted and malformed, and the room was insanely hot. I opened the dryer to find the three little things that bounce the clothes around had melted into several pieces of clothing. Bah. It doesn't look so far like any of my favorite shirts are affected, thankfully.
I did have a great time bringing in one of my shirts to everyone at work to see...although it reeked of burned plastic. Everyone was quite amused, though...and mentioned I should consider myself very lucky that the dryer didn't catch fire. Awesome.
Anyone want to buy me a dryer for Christmas? :D

Nice! Wanda will be entertained to hear that our old friend met such an end. I'm glad it served you well while he still ran. RIP old friend.

Wow.
Was there a short or something? What would cause the plastic to melt, and make the room so hot, yet not catch on fire?

No clue.

Our dryer is messed up too. :( It won't dry. Haha

Does it melt? :D

No, it doesn't melt. It has the opposite problem, it won't get hot at all. Sunday it ran for over 10 hours straight and never even got warm.

Hmm. I wonder if we could take my heater on my dryer and yours and combine them together to make two working dryers! :D

Or combine both our dryers to make one Uberdryer!
