I know, I know, it's about damn time...
(Yes, you've seen that title before)
One word: exhausted. In the past month, I've written half of the most robust application I personally have ever done (unfortunately with less than static requirements). My eight hours of sleep have decreased to between five and six. This isn't a bad thing, but sometimes you just look up and think, "Wow!".
It's also strange how things I used to do with great consistency have fallen by the wayside...this blog is obviously an excellent example. It's been over a month since a real update...definitely not my usual. I keep telling myself that I plan to update...but then I feel like I have nothing to say. My e-mail box used to always be clean...right now there are 34 messages in my inbox (in my defense, 5 were sent after I left work, and I have replied to--but not filed--one of them). I haven't vacuumed the house in two weeks...I have a Roomba so this is a patently ridiculous issue. :) Oh, and this one is for Elli: Yes, I have clean clothes in the dryer, which have sat there for a week and a half. I feel so lazy. :D
On another note, and further propelling laziness...I watched Animaniacs with Peter and Damen last week. That show is hilarious. I think it appeals to my particular sense of humor...which involves often taking obviously figurative or metaphoric statements literally and taking them to an obviously absurd conclusion--which, I read recently, is a general trait for Aspies. (Note for my later reference: section 3.2, paragraph 3.) So, anyway, maybe that's part of why I find that show so funny, especially now that I'm older, and can understand more of the puns and almost idiosyncratic literal interpretations of ordinary statements. On another note...Peter, I want my DVDs back. :D
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, or just HP7 for those that talk colloquially, comes out on Saturday. Woot! And, speaking of woot, there's a wootoff. We bought a Leakfrog for Andy's office. :D
Goodnight, nurse!

Yes! If any one needs a leak frog for their office it's definitely Andy! I remember my very first day on the job there I sat in on a meeting during which it began to rain and a proverbial waterfall began pouring from every crevasse in his office. It was quite amusing running to the break room to grab cups and towels to catch and clean up water while the client watched in amusement.

Dude... HP7 is freaking awesome. I was quite pleased with the ending.
