Bank Lines
I don't completely understand this, but it never fails that every time I go to the bank to deposit a check (I like deposit receipts so I refuse to use the night deposit box), I always end up behind a car that needs 20 minutes or more in line. What can you do in the drive-thru banking line that takes that long? I don't think I've ever done anything there that's taken over 3 minutes unless it just takes them forever to get to me. Maybe I'm slightly biased, though--I hate having to go to the bank.
Daniel sent me this little diddy just now, which I find rather humorous. Everyone give it a looksie! Also, he said in IM something awesome: "It has long been my dream to push little Japanese men around my screen with the mouse."

Wow. That's really all I can say about that.

Yeah, I hate going to the bank, too. Fortunately, my credit union is open longer hours than most banks, so usually I can avoid peak traffic times.

You know I was just asking my wife the other day who actually went to banks. Apparently readers of lukesneeringer.com. :D

I have to go very rarely, thankfully. :)

There's no way you could know this, but the vernacular term that sounds like looksie is actually look/see, as in "give a look and you will see." "give it a look/see."
It's popular in old westerns.

Hmm...I always thought it was "look-see."
