It's like those tennis ball machines...

Although I don't wish to recount them here, I've had an absolutely insane couple of weeks. One thing has been leading to another, and everything has crashed down in a way that has caused a very, very tired and overwhelmed Luke.

One of the things I've often wondered is why it's never the case that problems can come nice and single-file. Rather, they have to come in droves and in an overwhelming manner...where any one of them would be something that wouldn't be so hard to deal with, but the conglomeration of all of them just feels appalling. I guess they often do come single file; it's just we don't notice them that much when that's what's happening? :)

On my current good list hall of fame:
- Discount Tire, which will replace a blown-out tire for just the $10 disposal fee (for getting rid of the old tire).
- Elli, who will venture outside in 15 degree weather at 11:00 PM to start knocking ice off her car to bail me out before I calmed down enough to realize I did, in fact, have a carjack in the back of my car (among other recent selfless acts).

On my current bad list hall of fame:
- All large corporations who are too big and bloated to make a fucking decision and go with it.
