A Glad New Year to All the Earth

Some "firsts" for me in 2006...
1. I took on a "real" job.
2. I had someone call me their best friend.
3. I took on pets (the slobbering, oversized rodent my parents owned didn't count).
4. I became 100% fiscally self-supporting.
5. I played a massively multiplayer online RPG.
6. I got a Mac (Andy converted me).
7. I got a sister (in-law).
8. I drove an SUV.
9. I drank alcohol at work.
10. I visited newborns in the hospital.

I'm sure there are lots of others, but these are the first that came to mind.

1. Rode my bike to and from work for months.
2. Won multiple races.
3. Worked @ 3 different companies.
4. Did my most beautiful work.
5. Tried my hand at modge podge art.
6. Did my 2nd most beautiful work.
7. can't think of any more...

1. Joined a synchronized ice skating team (briefly)
2. Went hanggliding.
3. Took belly dance classes.
4. Visited Chicago.
5. Bought my first new car.
6. Joined a book club.
7. Saw a therapist.
8. Had a "drunk bar experience"
9. Got on a plane less than 24 hours after buying the tickets (to Cancun!).
10. Started taking real estate courses.
11. Got sick with the flu and food poisoning at the same time.
12. Watched the Longhorns win their first national championship in 35 years (HOOK 'EM!!!)
13. Hosted a server from my apartment.
14. Went to Truluck's
15. Went to a party where I didn't know anyone and managed to have a really good time.

Oh yeah! I left the country AND went to a beach with clearish water! Those were on my "To do before I die" list.

1. Had children.
2. Got a "real" job.
3. Got downsized from that job 4 months later.
4. Drank beer at work.

Can't think of anything else at the moment. At least nothing that I've never done before.

I'll agree that Mercy was ugly, but she didn't slobber. I can't stand a dog that slobbers.

It wasn't so much that she was ugly; it has more to do with the fact that she was a dog and annoyed the crap out of me. Dogs irritate me in general; Caleb and Kim's dog does, too.
