Dollars and Cents
Verizon can't do math, courtesy of Slashdot. I'm so glad this got recorded; it's hilarious.
Incidentally, I'm pretty sure that this video is not a fake, because the person making the call actually makes several mistakes himself (for instance, he says that 0.002 dollars is the equivalent of 0.00002 cents, getting it backwards).

I've been listening to this for 12 minutes now... and holy crap I'm frustrated. :)
I'm really hoping these people figure out the point of what this guy is telling them.

That is sad... just sad.
I really hope the company fixes this for the poor guy.
This makes me wonder... have they been charging all of their customers 100x the amount they were supposed to be charging?

I got pissed off just listening. I'm really impressed that the guy maintained a calm composure. I would have started yelling at the call center manager when she told me "it's a matter of opinion."
Nathan had the right idea, we should contact Verizon corporate and bring this to there attention, then tell them that if this is indicitave of their usualy customer "service" then we're happy there are other phone companies out there.
